Aviation litigation of counsel Chloe Challinor and managing associate Patrick Bettle, and funds and equity capital markets associate Tom O'Connor have contributed to the UK chapter of Chambers' first space law guide.
The guide brings together experts in the field from relevant space-faring jurisdictions across the globe to provide an overview of the domestic legal regime in their respective locations. Among other things, the UK chapter covers the UK's licensing regime for space activities (including coordination of Spectrum filings and the allocation of orbital slots), operator liability, the ownership of extraterrestrial resources, and investment in and financing of space activities in the UK.
