He has supported one of the world's leading low cost carriers for over 10 years on its growth journey, advising on sale and leaseback, operating lease, redelivery and general commercial matters. James has also worked with a number of leading international asset managers and leasing companies on the financing, leasing, trading and ongoing management of their aircraft assets.

James is also an active participant in decarbonisation initiatives in the aviation industry. He is a regular speaker on the topic and is involved with a number of industry bodies seeking to address this key issue in the sector.
