Saugata acts on all aspects of aviation finance and leasing, including secured lending structures, ECA-backed bond and loan financings, JOLCOs, portfolio sales and acquisitions, pre-delivery payment financings and operating leases. His practice extends to leading on and managing airline group restructurings. He also advises on business jet and spare engine financings.

Saugata has expertise in OTC derivatives, including equities, credit, commodities, fx products, structured repos and stock loans. He also has extensive experience in representing banks and funds on a variety of commodities financings and margin-lending trades.
