IMPACT
London-based aviation finance partner James Collins, and aviation litigation and regulation managing associate Patrick Bettle, recently presented to members of IMPACT on sustainable aviation on the perils of greenwashing and climate litigation in the aviation sector.
In their talk, James and Patrick gave an overview of different national and supranational legal and regulatory regimes on climate litigation, presented a sample set of recent greenwashing test cases involving major European and American airlines and provided IMPACT's members with some top tips regarding the importance of accuracy and substantiation when making environmental claims.
